Rwanda Ministry Update - Education Equals Hope

Blessing Vision Unity Academy (BLEVA), formerly known as Blessing School for the Visually Impaired (BSVI), is stepping into a new and exciting season of growth.

A New Chapter of Growth and Inclusion

We praise God for His continued faithfulness. Moving into our own school premises marks a beautiful milestone in our journey. This transition is more than a change of location it represents growth, stability, and expanded opportunity.

With this new beginning, we are now able to serve even more disadvantaged children, providing not only quality education but also dignity, care, and hope for a brighter future.

As part of this transformation, we officially changed our name from BSVI to BLEVA (Blessing Vision Unity Academy). Our new name reflects unity, vision, and a strong commitment to inclusive education bringing sighted and unsighted learners together in one supportive environment.

In alignment with Rwanda’s inclusive education direction, we are prayerfully working toward fully implementing this integrated model in the coming academic year.

It is a true joy to see our students learning with excitement and confidence. Their laughter in the classrooms, their determination in their studies, and their dreams for the future remind us why this mission matters.

Every lesson taught, every skill learned, and every friendship formed builds a foundation for lifelong transformation.

Prayer & Support Needs

As we continue building this vision, we invite you to stand with us in prayer and support:

1. Funds to complete the unfinished construction of our new premises.

2. Desks to fully equip our classrooms.

3. Metal bunk beds to replace old and worn sleeping facilities.

These needs are practical but they represent something much deeper: safety, dignity, and a better learning environment for our children.
