Empowering Women Through Livestock: Hillside Hope Launches Goat Rearing Program

Hillside Hope proudly launched its Goat Rearing Program by distributing three goats to three women from Nyarubande Village in Rwebeya Cell, Cyuve Sector of Musanze District. This initiative marks an important step toward empowering local families and supporting sustainable livelihoods within the community.

The beneficiaries expressed immense joy and gratitude upon receiving the goats. They commended the leadership of Hillside Hope for initiating a project that strengthens their capacity and promotes self-reliance. The women also highlighted that the goats will provide valuable manure for improving fodder cultivation, further enhancing their farming productivity.

The distribution was overseen by Nyirarukundo Clémentine, the leader of Nyarubande Village, whose support contributed to the smooth implementation of the activity.
